Just to kind of prove that I'm not dead: dwm 5.5 with the pertag patch from 5.4 (it applies fine) running ncmpcpp and irssi. The urxvt palette is stolen from someone, though I'm not entirely sure who (though I have a sneaking suspicion that it's phraktured from the Arch community).

Nothing spectacular, but it's kept me busy and satisfied for a while now. I've not moved fulltime over to dwm (I'm keeping a standalone compiz setup as well as an openbox one around as well), but it's becoming my default, without a doubt.

I use awesomewm a lot, I guess I should check dwm out as i've heard even better things about it :)

If you're used to the things that Awesome provides, you might not like the spartan nature of dwm. (Provides no tray, and only minimal handling for many other conveniences.)

I've gotten to really liking dwm though. The only thing I really miss when I'm there is Pidgin, but that's slowly being replaced by bitlbee or naim.

Unix is basically a simple operating system. You just have to be a genius to understand the simplicity.
